Pecco Bagnaia ganó el MotoGP de Indonesia, completaron el podio Maverick Viñales y Fabio Quartararo.
El mundial dio un vuelco con la caída de Jorge Martin, mientras lideraba. A falta de 15 vueltas, fue en la curva 11 y cuando le sacaba más de tres segundos al siguiente. Iba forzando en exceso con una ventaja muy amplia. Fue un golpe duro al mundial y un error clave en el campeonato.
Tras esta caída, todo cambia y ahora el italiano Bagnaia vuelve a ser líder con 18 puntos respecto al madrileño Martin.
La próxima carrera será en el circuito Phillip Island de Australia el domingo 22 de octubre. El circuito tiene una longitud de 4445 metros y cuenta con 12 curvas (7 a la izquierda y 5 a la derecha). El récord en dicho circuito lo tiene Martin con 1:27,767 el año pasado.
