Lo que me encanta de mi formación es que me brinda muchas herramientas de comunicación que me favorecen en la interacción con los demás, lo que me permite poder expresar de una forma más eficiente aquello que estoy sintiendo o pensando. En mi caso en particular, me metí a la carrera de comunicación con una base en historia porque la combinación de ambas disciplinas me ayuda a poder explicar los fenómenos históricos desde una perspectiva más moderna y dinámica. Dejando de lado el modo más estructurado y aburrido de abordar la historia.
¿Te dedicas a algo relacionado a lo que estas estudiando?
Actualmente no, pero hace un tiempo trabajé durante dos años como fotógrafa freelance para el diario “El Sol”, donde me encargaba de cubrir eventos del espectáculo y de música. También estuve tres años como reportera honoraria de “Koreanet”, que es una pagina del Ministerio de Cultura de Corea del Sur. Escribía en español para portales de Latinoamérica y España. Me especializaba en los siguientes temas: mitología coreana, películas y fechas importantes del país oriental.
¿La carrera era lo que imaginabas o te sorprendió en algún aspecto?
La verdad que al venir del lado de la historia esperaba que tuviera una mayor parte teórica. Aunque comprendí que con las materias teóricas que nos dan ya tenemos una formación sumamente completa que se complementa perfectamente con las prácticas, que nos sirven para desenvolvernos mejor en lo referido a la escritura, lo audiovisual y todo lo que concierne a la radio. Lo que me parece muy interesante porque nos muestran a la comunicación desde muchas de sus facetas.
¿Cuál es tu mayor sueño en el área profesional?
Mi mayor anhelo sería ser una buena profesora de comunicación y darles a mis alumnos todas las herramientas necesarias para poder comprender aquellos conocimientos que les voy a transmitir, pero sin quedarse con eso solo. Sino que apunto a que aprendan a investigar cada tema desde distintas fuentes para que así logren construir su propia ideología. Por otra parte, me gustaría poder sembrar en mis alumnos esa semillita de inspiración que los llevé a estudiar un terciario o carrera de grado relacionada a la comunicación.
En relación a lo laboral, también quisiera volver a escribir sobre mitología o cine, para algún medio que es en lo que me especializo.
