El próximo 10 de agosto el Turismo Carretera realizará la novena edición del llamado Desafío de Las Estrellas. Será en el autódromo de Villicum, San Juan, y para ese compromiso la Asociación Corredores Turismo Carretera trabaja en los últimos detalles.
Si bien cada carrera de TC es exigente la de San Juan lo será mucho más. Por tal motivo en las últimas horas se realizó en la sede del Barrio de Caballito una importante reunión entre las áreas que actuarán en la competencia. En la larga mesa se sentaron miembros de Comisión Directiva, quienes integran la Comisión Asesora y Fiscalizadora, los Comisarios Deportivos, responsables de los Departamentos de Seguridad, Bomberos y de autódromos de la ACTC y el encargado de la parte técnica de la categoría, Alejandro Iuliano. Todos ellos fueron puliendo detalles que tienen que ver con una carrera dura para los protagonistas y de mayor participación para quienes trabajan en la zona de boxes. Recordemos que habrá recarga de combustible y cambio de neumáticos.
Sorteo
Sabido es que la grilla del Desafío de Las Estrellas se realiza por sorteo, el mismo se hará el viernes por la tarde en un lugar a determinar en el centro de la ciudad de San Juan.
La última
El último Desafío de Las Estrellas que se realizó en Villicum quedó en manos de Santiago Álvarez. El de Ferre ganó con un Chevrolet Camaro y de esa manera consiguió su primer y único triunfo en la categoría. En el podio lo acompañaron Santiago Mangoni y Ricardo Risatti.
Solo dos
Con la carrera en Villicum, y luego la de Buenos Aires, el Turismo Carretera cerrará la etapa regular para pasar a definir el campeonato 2025 con los 12 mejores del torneo
